I trained as a vet. That means I have stood at a real front desk, watched a receptionist juggle three phone lines, and felt the sting of a no-show that nobody could have caught. I have seen patients slip away at 9pm because there was nobody there to book them in.

So when I moved into building websites, I did not come at it like a designer chasing a pretty layout. I came at it like someone who knows exactly where a practice leaks money, and where a good system quietly plugs the hole.
